The S300 is unique due to the Flir thermal camera integrated into the S300 design which enables autonomous surveillance control of the pan/tilt system. This unique feature will assist with the following applications:-

 Surveillance ensuring safety and security, surveillance footage recording and storage

• Man overboard detect and track

• Collision avoidance

• Search and rescue

• Piracy detection

 The system can also alert the operator of floating debris, ice or oil spills in the water and the final feature, deterrence and delay, which deploys a strobe feature at 9 hertz to inhibit any potential intruder.

Due to the efficiency and intensity of the strobe the operator would manually enable the strobe deployment taking responsibility once alerted. 

All procedures can be monitored during docking, loading and unloading of cargo, while at sea or as the vessel lays at anchor.

When the Vessel is underway the S300 can be set to surveillance mode, utilizing the Flir element only. This enables the operator to have visibility of the deck in conditions with reduced visibility and total darkness.

A surveillance perimeter could also be set up to alert the operator of approaching vessels. Recording and storing images either constantly or when movement is detected to save data storage, therefore, having reference to any activities and or accidents creating a safer working environment.
